What is the R-Value?

The R-Value is a general insulation rating that shows the insulating properties of a sleeping pad. For Summer camping at low elevation you can choose lower R-Values in the range of 1 to 3. When camping in Spring and Fall, we recommend an R-Value of 4 or higher.

The higher the number – the warmer the pad.
